Important information about some of the ingredients Dettol 0.2% antiseptic spray
This product contains benzalkonium chloride 2.0 mg / ml as drug and propylene glycol which may cause skin irritation.
Read all of this leaflet carefully because it contains important information for you.
This medicine is available without a prescription. However, you still need to use 0.2% of Dettol antiseptic spray carefully to get the best results.

Dettol 0.2% antiseptic spray is used to clean fresh minor injuries and destruction of common bacteria that infect small wounds. This product is not designed to improve the healing of wounds or be used for enhancing wound. It must not be worn on large wounds and severe injuries and is intended only for rare localized and short-term use. Should be consumed only once every 24 hours.
It is ready to use and does not need to be diluted.
Do not use Dettol antiseptic spray 0.2%
· In children younger than 12 months.
· If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to benzalkonium chloride or any other ingredients Dettol 0.2% antiseptic spray.
· It is not intended for long-term use or for more than one use per 24 hours.
Take special care with Dettolu 0.2% antiseptic spray
· Around the eyes, ears, genitals or mouth. In case of accidental eye contact, flush eyes with plenty of cold water.
· Do not breathe. For external use only.
· The big bangs covering more than 5% of the body surface (it is estimated that 5% corresponds to abrasion both elbows and knees).
Using other medicines
Not recommended for use Dettol antiseptic spray 0.2% during the use of other similar products because there are no studies on the effects of the use of other drugs.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
The expected adverse effects when used during pregnancy and lactation, because the product is absorbed through the skin minimal.
To avoid ingestion of infants during breastfeeding is not recommended formulation applied to the breasts.
Please consult a pharmacist or other healthcare professional if you want to use this product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines
0.2% of Dettol antiseptic spray will not affect your ability to drive and use machines.
Unless your doctor has told you otherwise, always use 0.2% of Dettol antiseptic spray precisely follow the instructions below. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist
For external use only.
Before first use, check for a broken safety seal around the cap. The first use or after long periods of non-use it may be necessary to activate the spray, by several times sprayed on a handkerchief or similar substance in order to ensure that the injured site is applied full dose.
In adults and children older than 6 years: For every wound, apply a dose (1-2 puffs) once and leave for five minutes. If it is necessary to remove excess liquid with a clean handkerchief or cotton swab.
For children aged 1-6 years: If you have any doubts, please, before using the product, contact your doctor or pharmacist. For every wound, apply a dose (1 puff) only once (for one use can treat up to four wounds) and allow five minutes to work. If it is necessary to remove excess liquid with a clean handkerchief or cotton swab.
Apply the spray from a distance of 4-15 cm. Do not breathe.
Soap can cancel the effect of the spray, so use it to wash wounds treated with plant Dettol antiseptic spray 0.2%.
If the wound re-opened, the product can be applied again, but should not be used long term.
May be used once every 24 hours, for a maximum of 3-5 days.

Like all medicines, 0.2% of Dettol antiseptic spray can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
After cleaning minor wounds, very rare side effects (affects less than 1 in 10,000 people) which include itching, rash, skin irritation, skin burning sensation, swelling, discoloration of the skin or redness of the skin. There may be a response at the place of use of such cracking. If you get such reactions occur, immediately discontinue use of product and consult your doctor or pharmacist. If you suffer from eczema, it can impair use of the product. It has been reported losing hair.
If any of the side effects persist, if any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use Dettol antiseptic spray 0.2% after the expiry date which is stated on the label after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Unused medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
What Dettol Antiseptic Spray 0.2% contains
- The active substance is benzalkóniumchlorid 2 mg / ml.
- The other ingredients are propylene glycol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, pine flavor, disodium edetate and purified water.

It is available in 100 ml bottles with spray.
